Summa Health System is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Equipment to produce high-quality MR images of patients. You will also ensure that all aspects of patient records are processed properly and initiate procedure results in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate Magnetic Resonance Equipment to produce MR images of patients
- Process patient records and initiate procedure results in a timely manner
- Perform other assigned duties as training and skills allow
- Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Preferred graduate of approved school of MRI Technology and/or registered by the ARRT for MRI
- One (1) year MRI Technologist experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other hospital employees
- Ability to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients, and apply and adjust restraining devices
- Ability to lift and position patients
- Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures
