MRI Technologist Job Summary

Summa Health System is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating Magnetic Resonance Equipment to produce high-quality MR images of patients. You will also ensure that all aspects of patient records are processed properly and initiate procedure results in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Magnetic Resonance Equipment to produce MR images of patients
  • Process patient records and initiate procedure results in a timely manner
  • Perform other assigned duties as training and skills allow
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology and registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
  • Preferred graduate of approved school of MRI Technology and/or registered by the ARRT for MRI
  • One (1) year MRI Technologist experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other hospital employees
  • Ability to calibrate and operate equipment, properly position patients, and apply and adjust restraining devices
  • Ability to lift and position patients
  • Successful completion of training to perform other radiology procedures
