The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team in General Surgery. The successful candidate will cover the entire general surgery service, including transplant, general surgery, CAIR, colorectal, EAT, bariatric, and trauma units.

This role involves clinical leadership, assessment, and collaborative management of inpatient surgical patients aged newborn to young adult. Responsibilities include:

  • Interpretation of diagnostic tests
  • Performance of therapeutic procedures
  • Quality improvement initiatives
  • Clinical research activities
  • Coordinating direct admission, timely discharge planning, consultations, and participating in patient/family education in collaboration with the healthcare team

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master of Science in Nursing
  • Certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
  • Excellent organizational, communication skills, and computer skills
  • At least 1 year of current Pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience (will consider new-grad and newer NPs with pediatric RN experience)
  • BCH experience strongly preferred
