Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Staff Nurse on the Thoracic Intermediate Surgical unit. This role requires excellent clinical skills, strong communication, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their families. This includes:

  • Providing expert nursing care to patients on the Thoracic Intermediate Surgical unit
  • Working closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes
Responsibilities

The Staff Nurse will be responsible for:

  • Assessing patient needs and developing individualized care plans
  • Implementing evidence-based practices to improve patient outcomes
  • Documenting patient information accurately and efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate records and reports
  • Participating in peer review and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A current Massachusetts RN license
  • Graduation from an approved school of nursing
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of thoracic surgery
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
Estimated Salary

$96,000 - $124,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
