Job Description

">

We are seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time/part-time opportunity at a high school in Hyannis, MA. As an SLP, you will be responsible for providing speech-language evaluations and assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's needs, delivering direct therapy services for students on your caseload, collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to support student success, and maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with DESE requirements.

  • Conduct thorough speech-language evaluations and assessments to identify areas of strength and need.

  • Create personalized therapy plans that address the unique needs of each student, incorporating strategies to promote effective communication, social interaction, and academic success.

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging, and evidence-based direct therapy services to students, adapting approaches as needed to meet diverse learning styles and abilities.

  • Cultivate strong relationships with teachers, staff, and families through regular communication, collaboration, and parent-teacher conferences to ensure seamless support and coordination.

  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation, meeting all state and federal requirements for student records and program evaluation.

Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

    ">
  • Active licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts, with eligibility for DESE certification.

    ">
  • Prior experience working with high school-aged students, preferably in a therapeutic setting.

    ">
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and time management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and responsibilities.
