Fraud Operations Manager Job Description

The Fraud Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the fraud operations function, ensuring the effective detection and prevention of fraud within the organization. This role involves designing, implementing, and overseeing all aspects of fraud operations, including staff, processes, systems, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent and detect fraud, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
  • Manage and oversee the fraud operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure the effective execution of fraud prevention and detection initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate fraud risks, ensuring the organization's assets and reputation are protected.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including law enforcement and regulatory agencies, to ensure effective communication and collaboration on fraud-related matters.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in fraud prevention and detection, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or business administration.
  • 5-7 years of experience in fraud operations, risk management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions to prevent and detect fraud.
