Job Overview

The Restaurant Server plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of our dining services by consistently meeting performance targets across various food service areas within the hotel. The Server is responsible for the setup, service, and breakdown of food and beverage stations, maintaining a high standard of quality and service throughout.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests promptly and professionally, engaging with them as necessary and addressing their inquiries and requests.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of the food and beverage offerings available.
  • Serve food and drink orders, ensuring they meet the required standards for temperature, presentation, and portion sizes. Replenish items as needed.
  • Utilize the POS system effectively, ensuring that all orders are accurately processed and transmitted in a timely manner. Follow all cash handling and credit card protocols.
  • Regularly check in with guests to ensure their satisfaction and that their expectations are being met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
  • Complete all assigned closing duties and reports.
  • Follow established safety and sanitation protocols diligently.
  • Adhere to grooming and uniform standards.
  • Perform additional tasks or projects as requested by management.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work efficiently without sacrificing quality.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high performance levels.
  • Friendly, attentive, and courteous demeanor towards guests, managers, and colleagues.
  • Must be capable of standing and moving quickly throughout the entire shift.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Food handlers and TIPS certifications are required.
  • Prior experience in guest-facing service roles is essential.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required.
  • Experience with computerized cash registers is preferred.
  • Commitment to ensuring overall guest satisfaction.
