ROLE SUMMARY:
The Associate Sourcing Manager (ASM) is tasked with leading and assisting in the optimization of the End-to-End supply chain costs while ensuring top-tier supply performance that aligns with the overarching corporate goals, including cost efficiency, inventory management, operational enhancements, innovation facilitation, supply adaptability, and lead time minimization. The ASM will focus on strategizing, planning, and executing sourcing initiatives that reveal and enable exceptional value creation opportunities. This role necessitates seamless collaboration with New Product Development (NPD), marketing, and other cross-functional teams to support the introduction of new products.
As a pivotal commercial relationship steward with our contract manufacturing partners, the ASM will cultivate strategic supply partnerships with designated suppliers. Close cooperation with demand and supply planning teams is essential to meet the suppliers' on-time and in-full (OTIF) targets. The ASM will play a crucial role in gathering, analyzing, and reporting supplier performance metrics while monitoring departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Additionally, the ASM will provide analytical support to senior management as required.
In essence, the ASM facilitates the supply chain's operation, enabling Emerge Talent Cloud to deliver outstanding service with minimal costs and without unnecessary delays or complications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, execute, and realize supply chain enhancements and cost optimization initiatives.
- Oversee and support the Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) network.
- Develop and nurture relationships with key suppliers.
- Provide analytics and reporting on spending and CMO OTIF performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of new product concepts and launches.
- Proactively manage risks through effective mitigation strategies.
- Engage in the annual business planning process, coordinating with finance and other departments to establish a robust Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) plan.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Lead analytics on spending and supplier performance, including data collection, analysis, and reporting.
- Manage supply chain cost optimization projects focusing on areas such as cost reduction, lead time minimization, and capacity analysis.
- Initiate and oversee supplier benchmarking events, including managing RFx processes.
- Develop cost models and prepare market intelligence reports.
- Assist cross-functional teams in supporting new product launches and transitions.
- Facilitate the supplier relationship management process for assigned suppliers and categories.
- Coordinate with all supply chain functions to support ongoing and new business initiatives.
- Generate reports including monthly spending, supplier KPI scorecards, and cost models.
- Maintain a database of supply agreements for assigned suppliers and assist in contract negotiations.
- Support COGS and APO optimization by managing relevant processes in SAP.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP regulations and PCH quality standards.
- Act as a brand champion for assigned brands with guidance from senior management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree with 3-5+ years of experience in supply chain management.
- Strong analytical and managerial capabilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Up to 5% travel may be required.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business documents and communicate effectively.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Competence in calculating figures and applying basic algebra and geometry concepts.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to understand and apply instructions in various formats and solve problems involving multiple variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Regularly required to sit, talk, or hear; occasionally required to stand, walk, and lift up to 10 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Moderate noise level typical of an office setting.

SALARY RANGE: $100K to $110K.
WORK HOURS: 40 hours per week.
