DSW Store Operations Manager

About This Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Supervisor to join our team at Designer Brands (DSW, Camuto Group). As a Store Supervisor, you will assist and perform various functions alongside store management to drive sales and results.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service and Store Experience
• Maintain a positive in-store experience by modeling behaviors that align with the company values of Accountability, Collaboration, Humility, and Passion.
• Ensure customers have a positive experience by maintaining DSW store standards, completing daily open/close tasks, and adhering to recovery and maintenance standards.
• Meet metric-based goals by reviewing, understanding, and clearly communicating daily/weekly/monthly goals, and able to clearly communicate business trends to Store Manager/Management Leader.
Inventory Management
• Increase sales and success by maintaining sales floor and stockroom, enabling the flow of merchandise to ensure an appealing experience for consumers.
• Supervise and participate in planning and executing all inventory management-related activities, including freight receipt, placement, markdown, and MOOS.
• Responsible for all omni activities in-store, including Charge/Send, BOPIS/BOSTS, and Delivery.
Human Resources and Team Development
• Work closely with the store leadership team to understand and follow policy and procedure.
• Assist the Store Manager and other leaders in recruiting/interviewing candidates and support team development through training, coaching, and directing associates.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Minimum 2 years retail experience, with some college preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to manage in ambiguous situations, and develop collaborative working relationships.
• Proven ability to train, coach, develop, and motivate others, with good verbal and written communication skills.
