Job Description:
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday - 7 AM to 3:30 PM with potential for overtime.
Initial training will occur during the day shift for the first few months, followed by a transition to the night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM (Pitman Schedule).
Role Overview:
Responsible for the upkeep and repair of physical structures within commercial and industrial settings, including factories, office complexes, residential buildings, and construction sites, utilizing both hand and power tools.
This role involves performing essential maintenance tasks to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment, adhering to safety protocols and maintenance systems to support the site’s operational goals.
Maintenance tasks may encompass dryers, chillers, thermo oxidizers, HVAC systems, fire pumps, mixers, mills, all filling line machinery, conveyors, wrappers, tanks, motors, pumps, tank washers, tank tippers, dock maintenance, building upkeep, and any other equipment as directed by management.
Qualifications:
Ability to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum of one year of maintenance or mechanical experience required.
Fundamental understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with PLC programming is advantageous.
Preferred Skills:
At least one year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred.
Certifications in industrial maintenance, electrical work, or welding, and/or a technical degree are advantageous.
This is a temporary to permanent position, with the possibility of extension if training is ongoing and performance meets expectations.
Lifting Requirement: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
