Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Respiratory Services Student to join our team at Houston Methodist Hospital. As a Respiratory Services Student, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced respiratory therapists and gain hands-on experience in providing respiratory care to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients under the supervision of a licensed respiratory therapist.
  • Assist with patient assessments, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established policies and standards of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of respiratory care principles and practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Actively enrolled in a school of respiratory program.
  • Successfully completed one clinical rotation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BLS certification.
  • RCP licensure in the state of Texas.
