Job Overview

The Stock Associate plays a crucial role in the efficient handling and processing of merchandise shipments. This position involves maintaining the sales floor by adhering to visual merchandising standards and collaborating with the store management team.

Essential Duties:

  • Oversee inventory by receiving, unpacking, processing, organizing, and storing Company Store shipments.
  • Label incoming products with necessary pricing information.
  • Complete receiving documentation, packing slips, and other paperwork accurately and promptly.
  • Restock the sales floor in line with visual merchandising standards.
  • Participate in weekly inventory counts, identifying discrepancies and reporting them to management for resolution.
  • Examine incoming shipments for damage and communicate any issues to the management team.
  • Facilitate product transfers between locations by packing and processing items appropriately.
  • Assist with updating retail prices by printing and applying new tickets.
  • Support bi-annual physical inventory efforts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace throughout the shift.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies as directed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficiency in computer use (Microsoft Excel preferred), basic math skills, and familiarity with calculators.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
  • Capability to climb ladders, bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Experience moving large quantities of merchandise using carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
