Radiation Oncologist Faculty Position

We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist to join our faculty at Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine. The successful candidate will be a board-certified Radiation Oncologist with an MD or DO degree and a successful completion of a residency training in an ACGME accredited program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Chief of the CNS radiotherapy service
  • Oversight of the clinical, educational, and research programs in collaboration with the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center multidisciplinary neuro-oncology team
  • Expansion of the clinical trial portfolio, including participation in NCI cooperative group trials, as well as conduct investigator-initiated trials through intramural and extramural grant funding
Requirements:
  • Board-certified in radiation oncology
  • MD or DO degree
  • Successful completion of a residency training in an ACGME accredited program

Loyola University Medical Center is a 547-licensed-bed quaternary hospital in Maywood, Illinois that includes the William G. & Mary A. Ryan Center for Heart & Vascular Medicine, the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, a Level 1 trauma center, Illinois's largest burn center, a certified comprehensive stroke center and a children's hospital. Loyola also trains the next generation of caregivers through its academic affiliation with Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine and the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing.
