Faculty Radiation Oncologists

The University of Chicago's Department of Radiation and Cellular Oncology is seeking a full-time faculty member to provide clinical care and lead a practice comprised of radiation oncologists, nursing, physics, dosimetry, and therapy staff. The appointee will be responsible for teaching and supervision of trainees and students, as well as scholarly activity. The ideal candidate will have experience participating in clinical trials and have formerly served as an attending radiation oncologist in an academic institution.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical care to patients
Lead a practice comprised of radiation oncologists, nursing, physics, dosimetry, and therapy staff
Teach and supervise trainees and students
Participate in scholarly activity
Participate in clinical trials
Requirements
Medical doctorate or equivalent
Medical licensure in the State of Illinois
Board certification or eligibility in radiation oncology
Residency training in radiation oncology
