Radiology Imaging Specialist

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Radiographic Procedures: Conduct a variety of standard radiographic procedures in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all governing regulations and guidelines.
- Review and Transmit Films: Accurately review and transmit films and reports to appropriate physicians, ensuring timely and effective communication.
- Reception and Clerical Duties: Provide reception and clerical support within the Radiology Department, preparing required departmental reports and maintaining accurate records.
- Patient Education and Preparation: Prepare patients for radiographic procedures by accurately assessing their needs and providing education on the procedures and protocols.
- Quality Control and Safety: Demonstrate skills for IV placement and injection of contrast materials, operate computer and radiographic equipment for image production and documentation, and perform quality control measures to ensure optimal quality images.
- Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and colleagues to ensure quality, continuity, and appropriateness of care.
- Experience: One (1) year as a Radiological Technologist.
- Education: N/A
- License, Certification, Registration: Basic Life Support, Radiologic Technologist Certification
- Additional Requirements: General knowledge of EH&S, OSHA, DHR, Radiation Safety and Protection, general knowledge of exam protocols, and basic PC skills.
