Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Prime Healthcare. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality images that help healthcare providers make informed decisions about patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT Scanners and X-ray Machines: You will be responsible for operating CT scanners and X-ray machines to produce cross-sectional images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Assist in Diagnosing Medical Conditions: You will assist in diagnosing medical conditions and the treatment plan process by producing high-quality images that help healthcare providers make informed decisions.
  • Ensure Patient Comfort and Safety: You will ensure patients' comfort and safety throughout the procedure, monitoring them closely and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists: You will work closely with radiologists to interpret images and assist in administering contrast agents or performing certain procedures.
  • Maintain Equipment and Supplies: You will be responsible for maintaining radiologic supplies, ensuring equipment is in good operating order, and following protocols regarding infection control and hygiene.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement Activities: You will participate in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) activities, assisting in maintaining Performance Improvement Programs (PIP).
Requirements
  • Education and Work Experience: You must have one year of acute, clinical radiology experience, with knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic/Fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Certifications and Licenses: You must be certified in CT and one other modality, with a radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
  • Computer Skills: You must be proficient in computer skills.
