About the Role:

The Clinical Educator provides expert guidance and education to patients, families, and healthcare staff on patient care best practices, while assuming a leadership role in promoting institutional initiatives that enhance patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement education programs to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify learning needs and develop targeted training initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies to inform education and training programs.
  • Utilize various platforms to provide education and promote learning, including written, electronic, and web-based services.
  • Develop patient education materials that are culturally sensitive and easy to understand.
  • Participate in ongoing research to improve clinical practice and patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution or currently enrolled in a Master's degree in Nursing program with anticipated achievement within 2-3 years.
  • Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio.
  • Professional certification(s) preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years recent experience in area of specialization preferred.
  • Demonstrates leadership and teaching experience.
