The Clinical Educator provides expert guidance and education to patients, families, and healthcare staff on best practices in patient care. This role assumes a leadership position in promoting high-quality patient care and driving institutional initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement education programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare staff.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver patient-centered care.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify areas for improvement in patient care and develop strategies to address these gaps.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies to inform education and training initiatives.
- Develop and maintain educational materials, including patient education brochures, videos, and online resources.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction.
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Ohio.
- Professional certification(s) preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years recent experience in area of specialization.
- Demonstrates leadership and teaching experience.
