We are a leading kids sports center in California, dedicated to helping children develop strong values, set worthy goals, and acquire the skills needed to achieve them. Our mission is to provide a safe and fun environment for kids to learn and grow.
About the RoleWe are seeking an energetic and dependable individual to join our gymnastics staff. As a Gymnastics Coach, you will be responsible for coaching children, providing excellent customer service, and fostering good values in students. No prior experience is needed, as we provide in-house training.
Key Responsibilities- Provide a safe and fun environment for kids to learn and grow
- Coach children in gymnastics skills and techniques
- Foster good values in students, such as hard work, determination, goal setting, and teamwork
- Work with other staff members to solve problems and achieve program goals
- Portray an excellent reflection of the AKSC brand
- Be organized and reliable in tracking student progress and communicating with parents
- Have good communication skills with the Gymnastics Director and other staff members, as well as students and parents
- Be computer literate to use software utilized by AKSC
- Energetic personality
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds to safely spot gymnasts and move equipment
- Ability to be on your feet while being active for 3+ hours a day
- Part-time hours, evenings, and weekends
- Availability to work between two locations
