Boca Raton Regional Hospital is an advanced tertiary medical center with 400 beds and is a recognized leader in Cardiovascular Care, Oncology, Women's Health, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine and the Neurosciences, all of which offer state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging capabilities.
Description:
This position is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of medically prescribed therapy services, in order to achieve maximum developmental potential, functional gains and independence. The therapist must be able to work independently, as well as, in teams and make appropriate decisions based on each patients' functional needs.
Estimated pay range for this position is $38.94 - $50.62 / hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:
Degrees: Masters Licenses & Certifications: Basic Life Support CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Certification Speech-Language Pathologist Additional Qualifications: Minimum Masters Degree required. Employee must complete either leadership or clinical track. Clinical Track - Clinical instructor ( 240 hours minimum full time, prorated based on FTE status) and completes two approved clinical ladder electives. Leadership Track - Identifies and analyzes performance improvement issues and attends non clinical courses in BHU as approved by leader and completes two approved clinical ladder electives. Minimum Required Experience: Outpatient experience with adults, varied diagnoses, strong MBS (swallow studies) skills, no weekends or holidays.
