Speech Therapist Job Description

At ACTS Retirement-Life Communities, we are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team. As a Speech Therapist, you will be responsible for providing speech therapy services to residents, including evaluations, planning individual treatment programs and goals, actual treatments, discharge planning, and performing other related duties as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide speech therapy services to residents, including evaluations and treatment planning.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment programs to meet the unique needs of each resident.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for residents.
  • Document resident progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Active Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Valid Speech Language Pathology license or eligibility for license in the state(s) where services are rendered.
  • Experience in a skilled nursing and/or outpatient rehab environment is preferred.
