Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Environmental Services Associate to join our team at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. As an Environmental Services Associate, you will play a critical role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily cleaning and disinfection of patient rooms, common areas, bathrooms, offices, hallways, and other assigned areas.
  • Work closely with departmental leaders and teammates to ensure high standards of cleanliness and safety are achieved in every area.
  • Demonstrate best practice cleaning practices with knowledge and understanding of Infection Control requirements for individual, staff members, and patient care safety.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and willingness to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Actively participate in process improvement and quality care initiatives.
  • Adhere to new process improvements within the hospital and department and provide feedback.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent or 1 year housekeeping-related experience.
  • Must be able to read, write, understand, and comprehend English.
  • Proficient in basic computer knowledge, able to effectively access all programs needed for the job.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment, delivering clinical and patient demands within the boundaries of your role. You will be required to wear PPE and work in precaution rooms for patients with highly communicable illnesses.
