Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner Senior to join our team at Medical Group Alaska. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner Senior will be responsible for conducting a variety of general medicine, occupational, and disability health examinations, including:

  • Reviewing medical history and associated records
  • Interpreting clinical data
  • Completing written reports and generating independent medical opinions (IMO)

Examinations may be conducted in-person, remotely, or through telehealth platforms. The successful candidate will also be required to travel up to 30% of the time to provide physical examinations for veterans and service members in multiple locations throughout the country.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited college or university
  • Current National Licensing with ANCC or AANP
  • Minimum 3 years of post-graduate primary care/internal medicine experience
  • Unrestricted State medical licensure without limitations to perform full scope of authorized practice in the state of hire
  • Ability to obtain DEA license
  • Valid BLS or ACLS certification
  • Ability to earn and maintain clinical training/certifications as required by current and future contracts
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain government clearances (LARS, Public Trust, NACI, etc.) as required
Preferred Qualifications

Experience conducting occupational/disability medical examinations is highly desirable.
