Talent Masters is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day activities to maintain scheduled production requirements and ensure the success of your team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead by Example: Create an environment of continuous improvement and empower team members to contribute to a culture of improvement.
- Technical Support: Interface with technical staff to ensure proper support and ensure that employees are properly trained in safety, quality, equipment operation, and 5S.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the first point of contact for employees regarding employee relations issues and establish annual goals and objectives that support the attainment of operating metrics.
- Process Improvement: Work to continuously improve processes, reduce inventories and work in progress, and eliminate waste.
- Union Relations: Interface with Union Stewards in contract and discipline issues and demonstrate a core value of respectful treatment of all team members.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations is preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a medium/high volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Skills: Basic understanding of process control, production scheduling, Kaizen, Kanban, and Lean manufacturing is preferred. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel).
The position involves sitting for long periods, standing, manual dexterity, stooping, bending, and minimal lifting.
