Compensation: $5,000 per 3 credit course.
Work Hours: Part-time, exempt, teaching 1-3 courses per semester.

The School of Architecture and Planning at UTSA invites applications for part-time, fixed-term faculty roles commencing in Fall 2024 for the academic year. Available courses include undergraduate and graduate studios in architecture. Upper-level topic studios will emphasize creative and critical architectural design exploration. Additional courses may be offered in the Urban and Regional Planning Master's program or the undergraduate Interior Design curriculum.
Essential Qualifications
- Architecture: Bachelor of Architecture (5-year) degree with professional registration OR Master of Architecture degree.
- Interior Design and Urban and Regional Planning: Master's Degree in a relevant academic field. NCIDQ registration.
- Demonstrated excellence in professional practice or community engagement.
- Registered Architect.
- Proven track record of excellence in university-level instruction.
- Demonstrated commitment to supporting professional development for all.
- UTSA maintains a tobacco-free campus.
- This position is security sensitive and contingent upon a successful background check.
- Selected applicants must provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States upon hire.
- A valid driver's license and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) may be required.
