Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive client support leveraging a broad IT background, including networks, protocols, security configurations, and identity management.
- Travel to client sites to address system and application performance challenges.
- Engage in problem-solving with colleagues, clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Work with cloud technologies, including Microsoft Azure and Office 365.
- Implement security best practices for both on-premises and cloud solutions.
- Configure and deploy multi-factor authentication systems.
- Gain hands-on experience with virtualization platforms.
- Manage client server environments with a focus on Windows Server.
- Create and maintain documentation for internal and client use; utilize a ticketing system.
- Address networking issues and design WAN and VPN connections.
- Support backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Analyze user needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- At least five years of experience in a systems engineering role, ideally ten.
- Experience with network environments, both cloud and on-premise.
- Proficient in Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and Remote Desktop.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- A collaborative mindset with a drive for achievement.
- Desire to enhance technical skills both in and out of the workplace.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Integrity and a history of excellence in previous roles.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft 365 Certified or Microsoft Azure Certification.
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Engineering is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with ConnectWise Manage is a plus.
- Experience with VMWare and server configurations.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Windows Server and Exchange Server.
- Knowledge of security technologies and backup solutions.
- Understanding of networking hardware and software.
