Key Responsibilities
  • Execute acquisition management across an entire product line, ensuring seamless coordination and oversight.
  • Coordinate products and taskings across the acquisition process and life cycle phases, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare, configure, and staff all Milestone documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Assist in determining contracting strategy, preparing contracting documents, and coordinating activities with Army Contracting Command.
  • Participate in source selection boards and conduct technical evaluations, providing expert insights and recommendations.
  • Lead and provide oversight of product IPTs, test events, test reviews, and product demonstrations, ensuring successful outcomes.
  • Assist in providing contract oversight for assigned products, maintaining a high level of quality and compliance.
  • Maintain and manage the program budget and master schedule, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Identify cost, schedule, and performance tradeoffs, providing data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Lead and oversee preparation of Supply Requests Packages to Defense Logistics Agency and manage transition of products from PM to DLA or Army Sustainment.
  • Develop and draft Acquisition Strategies, Acquisition Plans, and other acquisition documents, ensuring clarity and concision.
  • Lead tasks supporting pre-award contracts, financial management, risk management, total ownership cost determination, and contract coordination.
  • Coordinate contracting actions with local procurement contracting officers, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Perform acquisition strategy requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Active Secret Clearance required; US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • At least eighteen (18) years related work experience required.
  • Acquisition career specialization aligned to duty assignment (i.e., Program Management, Contracting, Logistics).
  • Equivalent or experience commensurate with DAWIA Level III certification in Acquisition Career Field, OR Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • Expert knowledge and demonstrated skills in managing cost, schedule, performance in a program office, Product Life Cycle Management, Project Team Management, preparing Acquisition and Contracting documents (to include J&A, Source Selection Plans, PWS, IGCE, D&F), WAWF, iRAPT, cost analysis, Project Management, database management, GFEBS, DODI, Defense Acquisition System JCIDS.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours. This position is currently authorized for hybrid telework, which includes two days on-site and three days telework. This telework designation is subject to change at the discretion of the Government.
