Job Description

As a Construction Project Coordinator at Bruce & Merrilees, you will play a key role in delivering our projects successfully. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and submitting shop drawings with precision to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Tracking project submittals to maintain schedules and timelines.
  • Developing and managing construction project schedules to meet deadlines.
  • Maintaining detailed records of installed quantities to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Supporting financial accuracy by assisting in maintaining cost reports.
  • Contributing to estimating project costs by providing valuable insights and expertise.
  • Preparing Requests for Information (RFI) to clarify and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Building strong relationships with customers through effective communication and project management.
  • Providing design and requirement support to the field team as needed.
  • Ensuring compliance with contract requirements by adhering to regulations and guidelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in construction management or engineering, preferably with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and excellent computer aptitude.
  • Familiarity with project management software, such as Primavera P6, Project, Viewpoint, AutoCAD, Navis, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or ConEst, would be an asset.
