Job Title: Medical Physicist

Cancer Care Centers of Brevard is seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in the design, optimization, and delivery of radiation treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize radiation treatment plans to ensure accurate and precise delivery.
  • Collaborate with physicians to provide technical expertise and guidance on radiation therapy treatments.
  • Supervise and maintain radiation treatment equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in clinical instruction and training of radiation therapy staff and students.
Requirements:
  • Post-doctoral degree in Physics from an accredited college or university or Masters.
  • Minimum three to five years experience in radiation physics.
  • Current certification in field by American Board of Radiology or Board of Medical Physics.
  • Must obtain and maintain certification and valid state license for medical physics as required.
Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent contact with staff and patients. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex technical information to non-technical staff and patients.
