Job Title: Medical Physicist

Cancer Care Centers of Brevard is seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in the design, optimization, and delivery of radiation treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and optimize radiation treatment plans to ensure accurate and precise delivery.
  • Supervise the maintenance and calibration of radiation treatment equipment.
  • Participate in the specification, selection, and acceptance of radiation producing machines and computerized treatment planning systems.
  • Develop and implement quality management programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with physicians and radiation therapy staff to ensure the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy.
  • Participate in clinical instruction and training of radiation therapy staff and students.
Qualifications:
  • Post-doctoral degree in Physics from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum three to five years of experience in radiation physics.
  • Current certification in field by American Board of Radiology or Board of Medical Physics.
  • Must obtain and maintain certification and valid state license for medical physics as required.
