Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Duke University Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain a sterile environment in the operating room
  • Pass instruments and supplies to the surgical team
  • Monitor and maintain patient safety during procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient and effective care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain a sterile environment and follow infection control protocols
