Job Summary

We're looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to assist in the preparation and care of surgical patients. As a member of our team, you'll work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare operating rooms with appropriate instrumentation, equipment, and supplies
  • Establish and maintain a sterile field and ensure the team maintains a sterile environment
  • Assist with teaching newly hired technologists and student technologists
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff members, and physicians
  • Adhere to standards, including unit and hospital policies, regulatory standards, and patient safety goals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program or certification as a Surgical Technologist
  • 0-18 months of full-time equivalent experience in a surgical setting
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure in a stressful environment
  • Knowledge of anatomy relating to surgical procedures and instrumentation
