Salary Range: $18 - $20/hourly (depending on experience)

Job Description:
We are seeking an energetic and reliable Lot Attendant to join our team at Chevrolet GMC of Fairbanks. As a Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle display, supporting sales activities, and delivering vehicles to sites and locations as required. You will also monitor tire pressure, add air and fuel as needed, recognize general vehicle repairs, and notify management. Additionally, you will prepare sold vehicles for delivery, prioritize vehicles for prep or washing based on appearance, and assist the shuttle driver as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the visual appeal of our vehicle display by moving and positioning vehicles effectively.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers and other locations as required.
  • Monitor and maintain vehicle tire pressure, adding air and fuel as necessary.
  • Recognize and report any general vehicle repairs or building maintenance needs to management.
  • Prepare vehicles for delivery to customers, prioritizing those that need washing or preparation based on their condition.
  • Assist the shuttle driver as needed to ensure seamless operations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
  • You must be able to operate a wide variety of cars, light trucks, and vans, including both manual and automatic transmissions.
  • A professional appearance and work ethic are essential for this role.
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills are required to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • You should be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • An acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence are necessary for this position.

Requirements:
To be eligible for this role, you must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
