Job Title: Behavioral Management Specialist

At Spread Your Wings Inc, we are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Behavioral Management Services team, you will play a critical role in planning, developing, and managing behavioral management services/programs for our consumers.

The successful candidate will have the ability to provide direction concerning service delivery, communicate effectively in writing and verbally, and provide consumer-centered behavioral management services. Additionally, you will supervise Behavioral Management Assistants and other key personnel, involving job-related matters of moderate to unusual complexity.

This is a hybrid position, requiring approximately 30% of work time to be spent in the office or client residences, with the remaining time worked remotely from a location with reliable WiFi connection and minimal technical issues.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Develop and implement functional behavioral assessments and Behavioral Intervention Plans for consumers assigned to your caseload.
  • Gather data utilizing scatter plots, ABC Data Sheets, and develop graphs and summaries of findings.
  • Incorporate gathered information into consumer Behavioral Intervention Plans and continue to monitor progress towards objectives.
  • Work collaboratively with Behavioral Management Assistants, program team members, regional center personnel, consumers, and caregivers in developing and implementing consumer Behavioral Intervention Plans.
  • Provide clinical supervision to Behavioral Management Assistants and other team members accruing licensure hours for BCBA status.
  • Provide regular updates to the Executive Director/CEO and other relevant parties on consumer progress towards Behavioral Intervention Plan objectives, making modifications as needed.
  • Provide guidance, oversight, support, and training to Behavioral Management Assistants assigned to work with mutual consumers and caregivers.
  • Participate in team meetings on a regular basis.
  • Apply confidentiality regulations and practices to everyday tasks.
  • Provide excellent customer service to consumers, caregivers, regional center staff, and other parties involved in business matters.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Licensed as a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
  • At least one year of experience in designing and/or implementing behavior modification intervention services.
  • At least one year of supervisory or management experience, preferred.
  • Willingness to occasionally travel during work hours to assigned areas where clients and their families/caregivers may be located.
Physical Requirements:
  • Employees in this position must have the ability to:
  • Sit for extended periods of time.
  • Able to lift/carry up to 15 pounds.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach overhead, grip/grasp, pull, and push.
  • Ambulatory status (ability to independently remove self from potential hazards).

Salary: DOE (Range: $76,960-87,360 annually + medical/dental/vision coverage + 80 hours PTO annually (accrual-basis) + $200/month auto stipend)
