Job Summary

Parkhurst Dining is a family-owned company that provides culinary, dining, and catering services to over 65 organizations and universities east of the Mississippi. We prioritize using locally sourced ingredients, preparing food with heart, and serving with a smile.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate the dish machine according to Parkhurst standards and procedures, ensuring strict sanitary conditions.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the dish room and surrounding areas, adhering to the company's high standards.
  • Ensure a sufficient supply of china, silverware, trays, cups, and glasses during service periods.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping and mopping the dish room floor, and emptying the mop bucket.
  • Conduct weekly tasks, such as de-liming the dish machine and scrubbing and soaking stained cups.
  • Exercise caution when using chemicals and follow the cleaning schedule provided by management.
  • Communicate effectively with management, informing them of product and supply needs.
  • Adhere to the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
  • Follow Parkhurst Hospitality Gold Standards and Smile Plus hospitality imperatives.
  • Assist fellow associates as needed and perform other duties assigned by management.
