Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team at Festival Foods. As a key member of our Guest Service Department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring a positive shopping environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reinforce our company culture and service standards to all Guest Service associates.
  • Oversee the operations of the Guest Service Department, including leadership of associates and management of departmental activities.
  • Utilize leadership tools and strategies to motivate and develop team members.
  • Ensure a positive guest experience and team environment by overseeing Guest Service activity and communicating department priorities.
  • Lead by example and ensure that Guest Service operating procedures are known and adhered to.
  • Direct guests into lanes, monitor business operations, and respond to customer needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Act as a manager and take ownership of guest needs, utilizing our LAST principles.
  • Ensure proper staff levels and adjust daily schedules to meet business needs.
  • Communicate effectively with Shift Managers and other team members to ensure seamless operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Minimum availability of 24 hours per week, with a minimum of 6 hours per day.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with customers and all personnel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including effective negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing situations.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to handle a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Thorough understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
