Job Summary:

As a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) at Trinity Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide respiratory care to patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions, including aerosolized delivery of medication, mechanical ventilation, and pulmonary function studies.

* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.

* Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.

* Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment outcomes.

* Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in respiratory care.

Requirements:

* Successful completion of a 2 or 4 year Respiratory Care Program or completion of additional educational requirements allowing eligibility to obtain registry credentials.

* Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License to practice in the State of Ohio and National Board of Respiratory Care credential indicating RRT or CRT.

* Clinical experience in adult and neonatal respiratory therapy procedures, including aerosolized delivery of medication, mechanical ventilation, assisting with intubations and extubations, pulmonary function studies, emergency care, and obtaining and interpreting arterial blood gases.
