Respiratory Therapist, RT

Mount Carmel Health is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will provide therapeutic procedures and diagnostic testing to chronically and acutely ill patients requiring respiratory procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide Respiratory Care to patients, ensuring a safe and effective environment.
Initiate and administer therapeutic procedures, diagnostic tests, and education in accordance with departmental policy and procedures.
Record patient information and maintain departmental records.
Participate in students' clinical rotations and precept new employees as requested.
Requirements:
Successful completion of a 2 or 4 year Respiratory Care Program or completion of additional educational requirements allowing eligibility to obtain registry credentials.
Ohio Respiratory Care Professional License to practice in the State of Ohio and National Board of Respiratory Care credential indicating RRT or CRT.
Clinical experience in adult and neonatal respiratory therapy procedures, including aerosolized delivery of medication, mechanical ventilation, assisting with intubations and extubations, pulmonary function studies, emergency care, and obtaining and interpreting arterial blood gases.
Current BLS certification.
