Job Summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Nephrology Team in College Station, Texas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of our integrated healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical and mental conditions through comprehensive physical examinations and medical histories.
  • Order, collect, and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests to inform patient care decisions.
  • Prescribe and recommend medical therapies, procedures, and treatments in accordance with approved protocols and standards of care.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive patient treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • Counsel patients and families on medical processes, health management, and wellness strategies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • PA license through the state of Texas.
