About the Role

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality images, and providing excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including radiography, fluoroscopy, and computed tomography (CT) scans.
  • Position patients and select exposure factors to ensure high-quality images.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, imaging results, and any relevant medical history.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Advanced training beyond high school in radiologic technology.
Working Conditions

The Radiologic Technologist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with frequent exposure to radiation and other hazards. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work effectively in a team environment.
