Job Title: Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and collaborating with radiologists to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform radiographic procedures, including general diagnostic and fluoroscopic exams
  • Communicate with patients to explain procedures and address any questions or concerns
  • Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations
  • Identify patient and label images, compare requisitions to physician's orders, and process images
  • Assist and communicate with radiologists, prepare and maintain records, and enter patient and study information into the radiology information system
Requirements:
  • Radiographer license issued by the state of Wisconsin
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced training beyond High School in Radiologic Technology
