Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Transportation Planner to join our team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation planning, urban mobility, and project management.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead or assist in delivering multiple project types, including urban mobility studies and designs, placemaking, and public engagement across New England.
  • Support projects involving transportation planning, urban mobility, public transit, pedestrians and bicycles, transit-oriented developments, and downtown revitalization.
  • Contribute to business development aspects of growing and supporting GPI's transportation, urban mobility, and urban planning sectors.
  • Lead and support public and stakeholder engagement for various projects.
  • Design and plan innovative transportation solutions, integrating Complete Streets concepts in both urban and suburban settings.
Requirements:
  • Maintain a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report (MVR) for final consideration.
  • Read, write, and understand plans and directions given in the English language.
  • Basic computer skills with the ability to create and edit Microsoft Word and Excel documents.
  • Able to stand for approximately 3 hours minimum a day up to 8 hours.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
