About the Role

Hilton Grand Vacations is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Yield Management team, you will play a critical role in maximizing inventory usage to achieve sales and marketing goals while maintaining ownership liabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary liaison between property-level management and the Yield Management team, supporting reservations and inventory functions.
  • Supervise the Resort Inventory Supervisor working on behalf of the managed resorts.
  • Manage a group of resorts in specified regions, maximizing sales potential by analyzing reports and making decisions to achieve budgeted sales goals.
  • Allocate within liabilities to support various owner and developer programs, reconciling owner and developer team member liabilities.
  • Work closely with the Sales and Marketing departments to meet budget and develop contingency plans when the budget is not achievable.
  • Review future occupancy on a daily basis, making decisions to open or close out dates based on occupancy and/or overbooking strategy.
  • Communicate with management to make rate adjustments based on special events, market demands, and trends.
  • Perform one-on-one and group trainings on site with property management and team members.
  • Makes critical decisions on space management that will help drive occupancy, revenue, and arrivals to achieve budget goals and assist sales reach sales goals.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • A minimum two (2) years of experience in the timeshare, hospitality, hotel, and/or tourism field required.
  • A minimum two (2) years of manager or supervisor experience required.
  • Must have Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • This position requires the capability to understand and follow both oral and written directions as well as knowledge and usage of correct business English and office practices.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others, analyze and resolve problems, maintain effective working relationships, and interact successfully with internal and external customers.
  • 25% travel required.
