Pediatric Communication Specialist

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Communication Specialist to support students' academic success and social development in a school-based setting.
OverviewBased in Oregon, Illinois, this charming city offers a relaxed atmosphere with scenic beauty and historic downtown. Residents can enjoy parks and outdoor activities in northern Illinois.
We are looking for an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with minimum 1+ years of experience in speech therapy. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
Responsibilities- Evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills through assessments.
- Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide direct therapy services to students individually or in group settings.
- Support students' communication needs within the classroom environment by working with teachers and special education staff.
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills.
The estimated salary for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per year, based on location and experience.
