Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Oregon, Illinois.

About the Role

This position involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in students. You will work collaboratively with school teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide direct therapy services to students individually or in group settings.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and special education staff to support students' communication needs within the classroom environment.
  • Develop and implement effective interventions to address students' communication disorders.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • A valid state license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
