About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Dual Diagnosis Counselor to join our team as a Community Outreach Specialist. In this role, you will provide culturally competent and appropriate alcohol and drug outpatient treatment and other behavioral health counseling to individuals served by Community Counseling Solutions (CCS) who are also in the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive alcohol and drug treatment assessments upon program admission and at least annually thereafter.
  • Develop client-centered service plans in conjunction with the QMHP.
  • Provide individual and group counseling, including EIMR (dual-diagnosis) groups.
  • Monitor progress with SUD goals and objectives and conduct thorough discharge summaries and relapse prevention plans.
  • Participate in the ACT On Call Crisis rotation and provide support to clients as needed.
Requirements
  • Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification - Level I
  • Qualified Mental Health Associate Certification - Level I
  • Must possess or be able to acquire knowledge of symptoms and challenges faced by people with mental illness and addictions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing and work independently and complete all responsibilities in a thorough and timely fashion.
  • Must have skills to professionally work with the public and the ability to coordinate services across various agencies and community groups.
Compensation

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $26.44-$38.61 per hour, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a competitive benefits package, including personal auto insurance requirements.
