Job Summary

Catholic Health Initiatives is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Technologist to join our team in the Cardiac Sonography department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the coordination of staff, training new staff and students, and maintaining and updating protocols and new techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Coordination
    • Lead the team in the absence of the manager of operations
    • Coordinate staff and ensure smooth workflow
  • Quality and Safety
    • Ensure equipment is operational, safe, and functioning according to diagnostic standards
    • Complete quality checks and maintain equipment logs
  • Patient Care
    • Prepare patients for exams and ensure their safety and comfort
    • Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals
  • Education and Training
    • Train new staff and students
    • Provide education and training to technical, nursing, and medical staff
  • Research and Development
    • Coordinate departmental research activities
    • Formulate and update exam protocols
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree or one year certificate in Cardiac Sonography
  • Registered by American Diagnostic Registry for Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
  • Five (5) years of related experience
Compensation

$53.60/hour
