Lead Endovascular Radiologic Technologist

The Lead Endovascular Radiologic Technologist plays a pivotal role in the Endovascular Laboratory, serving as the lead person for Radiologic Technologists. This position requires strong leadership skills, as the individual will be responsible for performing lead job duties, leading projects, and performing specialized responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiologic technology and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Organize work schedules and make work assignments
- Review and edit time cards for accuracy
- Conduct quality assurance audits of staff performance
- Develop and implement quality improvement activities
- Train and mentor staff
- Provide feedback on staff performance and developmental needs
- Participate in the development of skills and performance of staff
- Lead and regularly perform special projects
- Collect and analyze data, and prepare reports on performance and metrics
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
- At least 4 years of experience as an Endovascular Rad Tech
- Prior experience in a lead role, or HM experience and performance that demonstrates leadership abilities
- ARRT-R - Radiologic Technologist - Radiographer (ARRT)
- CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure
- CMRT-Temp - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - Temporary State Licensure
- BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA)
- ARRT-VI - Radiologic Technologist - Vascular Interventional Radiography (ARRT)
- RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (CCI)
