Manufacturing Technician

The GE HealthCare Repair Operations Center is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Technician to join the Harvest operation team. Our team disassembles end-of-life medical equipment to extract vital parts that keep medical systems running in hospitals worldwide.
Responsibilities:- Work with a safety-first mindset to maintain a safe working environment for self and team members.
- Maintain accurate records consistent with GE HealthCare's good documentation practices.
- Provide evaluation and constructive feedback in the development of new and existing work instructions.
- Contribute to the team's overall success by providing strong individual contributions.
- Complete all planned Quality, Compliance, and Safety training within defined deadlines.
- Use basic hand and power tools to disassemble medical equipment while ensuring the safe handling of critical parts.
- Clean and inspect mechanical and electrical components.
- Cross-reference part numbers, schematics, and purchase specifications to ensure part compliance.
- Utilize pallet jacks, lift carts, and other equipment to safely move heavy systems and parts.
- Contribute to the improvement and sustainment of departmental Lean and 5s goals.
- Associates degree or a High School diploma and 2 years of technical experience.
- Proficiency in logical troubleshooting at subsystem and system levels, using identifiable problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to draw accurate conclusions from test data, malfunctions, or deviations, and assist with corrections to the existing design or process.
- Proficiency in understanding and interpreting basic written technical information.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with limited direction and information.
- Ability to communicate using English (or local language).
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft office applications.
- Demonstrated expertise with hand and power tools.
- Electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting experience.
- Familiarity with GE HealthCare medical systems.
