Job Overview

Big O Tires - Hamilton is seeking an experienced Automotive Assistant Manager to lead our retail store team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for directing and managing the daily operations of the store, ensuring optimum efficiency, economy of operations, and maximum profit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Open and close the store, ensuring a smooth and secure operation
  • Assist the Store Manager with various duties, including inventory management and customer service
  • Monitor inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Operate point of sale hardware and software, and perform various administrative tasks
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • Experience in the automotive industry, preferably in a retail or management role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions
  • Valid driver's license
