At Employee Management Group LLC, we are seeking a skilled HVAC Installation Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing HVAC systems in new construction projects, ensuring all installations meet company standards, local codes, and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install HVAC systems (heating, cooling, ventilation) in new construction projects, including residential and commercial buildings.
- Interpret blueprints, specifications, and job orders to determine work requirements and sequence of installations.
- Assemble, position, and mount HVAC equipment and ductwork according to job specifications.
- Connect and test components, such as compressors, condensers, and thermostats.
- Ensure all installations comply with safety regulations and local building codes.
- Collaborate with other construction professionals, including electricians and plumbers, to ensure coordinated and efficient installation processes.
- Perform quality checks to verify proper system operation and functionality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with HVAC installations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and industry best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification in HVAC is preferred.
- Proven experience as an HVAC installer, particularly in new construction settings.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and installation procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools related to HVAC installation.
- Understanding of local building codes and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials (up to 50 lbs).
- Comfortable working in various environments, including tight spaces, heights, and outdoor conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.
